The Dublin FIRST Robotics Competition offers students from Dublin’s three high schools unique challenges in science, technology, engineering, math, computer programming, computer animation, marketing, presentation, and community service. The build cycle (the main season) for the high school team starts in January and runs until mid-February, with competitions typically happening in March.
All in-person meetings will be held at Coffman High School. Meeting dates and times are not finalized for this upcoming season, but will likely be:
- Monday 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
- Tuesday and Thursday 3 PM – 5 PM .
- Saturday Meetings will be split sessions of either 9AM to noon or 1 PM – 4 PM.
Most team members typically attend 2-3 sessions per week depending on their availability and role on the team.
